Terms of Use
Last updated: June 10, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Maestrly desktop application and website ("Service"), operated by Antonio Duarte (Brazil) ("Maestrly", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Maestrly is
Maestrly is a desktop application that orchestrates third-party AI coding command-line tools (such as Claude Code, Codex and Cursor) that you run on your own machine. Maestrly is an orchestration and developer-productivity tool — it is not itself an AI model or AI content generator.
2. Bring your own subscription
Maestrly does not include or resell access to the underlying AI services. You must provide and pay for your own subscriptions/credentials with the respective providers. Your use of those third-party services is governed by their own terms, and we make no warranties about them and are not responsible for their availability, pricing, output or actions.
3. Local execution
The AI CLIs and your credentials run locally on your machine. Your code, prompts and the agents’ outputs are processed locally and are not sent to our servers. What we send to the cloud is limited to account, license and billing data, and — on the Cloud plan — the data you choose to sync. See our Privacy Policy.
4. Accounts
You sign in with Google or GitHub. You are responsible for your account and for all activity under it, and for keeping your devices and credentials secure. You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a contract.
5. Plans, trial and billing
- We offer Standard (local) and Cloud (sync) plans, billed monthly or annually.
- New accounts include a 30-day free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the plan converts to a paid subscription.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Prices are in USD. Applicable taxes are calculated and collected at checkout by Paddle.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including: violating any law; infringing others’ rights; attempting to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorized access to the Service; or using it to build a directly competing product. You are responsible for reviewing and approving any actions the AI agents take on your behalf.
7. Intellectual property
Maestrly and its branding are owned by us. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service per these Terms. Your code and content remain yours.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that AI outputs or agent actions will be accurate, complete, safe or suitable for any purpose. You are solely responsible for reviewing outputs and for any code committed, executed or deployed.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel anytime. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or for security/legal reasons. You can request export or deletion of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
12. Governing law & contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence. Questions: hello@maestrly.com.
